Ohio State : Tourist Attractions

World class museums, adventure sports, water parks, antique shops, and gourmet restaurants – this is Ohio for you. Ohio has been divided into seven travel regions namely, Northwest Ohio, North Central Ohio Northeast Ohio, Central Ohio, East Central Ohio, Southwest Ohio, Southeast Ohio. You can explore Armstrong Air & Space Museum, Annie Oakley Center, Lake St. Mary's and Van Buren state parks, Stoney Ridge Winery and the Winery at Versailles at Northwest Ohio. Places to visit in North Central Ohio are Cedar Point Amusement Park, Put-in-Bay, Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center and Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy rock music at Roll Hall of Fame and Museum or hiking at Nelson Kennedy Ledges State Park's or shopping at great prices at Holden Arboretum in Northeast Ohio. The Ohio State University, Wexner Center for the Arts, and Columbus Zoo are some of the interesting places to visit in Central Ohio. In East Central Ohio, you can visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Maize Valley Farm Market and National First Ladies Library/First Ladies National Historic Site. A trip to Southwest Ohio will take you the historic Cincinnati, where you can visit museums, and art galleries and not to forget the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Southeast ohio is famous for its unspoiled beauty in Ohio’s Hocking Hills. You can also indulge in recreational activities like canoeing, hiking and horseback riding.
