Ohio is ranked 7th among the 50 state of U.S. Ohio is located in Midwestern region of United States. Ohio was admitted to the United States union in 1803 as the 17th state. The constitution of Ohio provides three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. Statewide elected officers are elected for a four year term which includes Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, controller, Attorney General, and Superintendent of Public Institution. The governor is not elected in the same election year in which the president of United States is elected. Ohio’s legislation is bicameral and comprises of 33 Senate members and 99 House of Representatives. The Senators and the House of Representatives are both elected for two-year term. The highest court in Ohio is the Ohio Supreme Court as per the judiciary authority. There are also courts like Ohio Court of Common Appeals and the intermediate district Court of Ohio which hear cases assigned by the Supreme Court.

Department of Health: The aim of the department is to improve the health of all Ohioans by operating programs in promotion of health, prevention and control of diseases, mother and child care, management of nursing homes and hospitals. The department also provides emergency services and coordinates and administers other health care providers and local health departments.

Department of Natural Resources: The Department is responsible for protection, management and preservation of wildlife, national parks, nature preserves, forests, soil and water, recycling, mineral resources (mining activities, extraction of ores) and rest of the geology.

Department of Tourism: The Department of Tourism is responsible for development and promotion of travel and tourism opportunities in the state of Ohio. The Department also oversees hospitality and economic management in the state and also the management of the state tourism website with a market oriented approach.
